Before rebuilding a website, you need to know what is actually failing. This checklist separates design, message, customer journey and technical issues, so the redesign fixes the right things.

First impression

  • Does the site project a current, credible image of the company?
  • Does a visitor understand within seconds what you offer?
  • Do the photos, colors and copy genuinely look like your business?

Offer clarity

  • Does every important service have a clear page or section?
  • Does the visitor know what to do next: call, write, request a quote?
  • Are reassurance elements (work, method) visible?

Mobile journey

  • Are phone, WhatsApp or the form reachable without searching?
  • Do headings stay readable on a small screen?
  • Are buttons clear enough to trigger an enquiry?

Technical base and SEO

  • Do the important pages have clean titles, descriptions and structure?
  • Are DNS, hosting and the SSL certificate under control and documented?
  • Are the sitemap, robots.txt and Search Console configured correctly?
  • Do you know which pages receive traffic today?

Redirects and launch

  • Does every important old URL have a planned redirect to a genuine equivalent?
  • Is the switch planned: who, when, with what rollback option?
  • Does the current site stay online until the new one is in production?
